ROCOR

I agree that it is notable that bishops from all jurisdictions, including ROCOR, are participants in the GA. However, I question the validity of pointing out that this is a difference from SCOBA. If I understood my local clergy correctly, ROCOR was part of SCOBA at the beginning, and it was only recently that their participation was blocked (and OCA, which had previously been excluded was now included).

My suggestion is to drop the sentence noting ROCOR's inclusion as a difference from SCOBA.—The preceding unsigned comment was added by Jkotinek (talkcontribs) .

The ROCOR was never a part of SCOBA. Indeed, when it was founded in 1960, there was no way you'd be able to get both the Metropolia (who were founding members) and the ROCOR in the same room. In fact, it was only just a couple of years ago that the MP bishop became a part of SCOBA. —Fr. Andrew talk contribs (THINK!) 15:10, June 15, 2010 (UTC)

List of 55 Hierarchs

I propose we include the full list of the 55 hierarchs that were present, in the article. I have produced the list below, preserving the order of bishops' names from the official release.

I have provided OrthodoxWiki links to all the Bishops that I was able to identify (since only their first names were provided in the official release); if someone could kindly double check the links below for accuracy against the official list (again, the order is the same), I would appreciate it. I have bolded those names I was not able to identify, or whose full title I could not determine.

Would be nice to have an article on all 55 hierarchs in OW. Thx. Angellight 888 05:17, June 15, 2010 (UTC)

The article is about the body, not solely about the first meeting of that body. If we put this list in now, then we'd have to include another next year, etc. I say we leave it out and just link to the officially published documents. —Fr. Andrew talk contribs (THINK!) 15:10, June 15, 2010 (UTC)
