Archdiocese of Memphis

The Holy Archdiocese of Memphis is a diocese in Egypt under the jurisdiction of the Greek Orthodox Patriarchate of Alexandria and All Africa.

The see of Memphis was supressed on December 15, 1927, in place of the Archdiocese of Hermopolis. It remained a titular archbishopric until November 30, 1972, when it regained part of its old territory upon the election of Abp. Nicodemus.
