Malawi constituted a part of the Archdiocese of Zimbabwe. From 2004 to 2009, the primate of the metropolis has been His Eminence George (Vladimirou).
There are two parishes at present in Malawi:
- St. Nektarios in Limbe, served by Fr. Ermolaos Iatrou,
- and St. George missionary centre in Blantyre.
