Patrick Henry Reardon
Patrick Henry Reardon is a priest of the Antiochian Orthodox Christian Archdiocese of North America, currently serving as pastor of All Saints' Orthodox Church in Chicago, Illinois. In addition to his duties with his parish, Fr. Patrick is a homilist, writer, and teacher.
Life
Father Patrick began his life a Roman Catholic, joining the Abbey of Gethsemani, a Trappist ran monastery in Trappist, Kentucky, after he graduated from high school. After leaving the Abbey, he went through a theological education program at Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky, then attended St. Anselm's College, and the Pontifical Biblical Institute in Rome, Italy, followed later at St. Tikhon's Orthodox Seminary in South Canaan, Pennsylvania.
Fr. Patrick is a prolific writer as well as a popular pastor, homilist, and teacher. In addition to his responsibilities as the priest at All Saints' Orthodox Church in Chicago, Fr. Patrick is a senior editor of Touchstone Magazine. In addition to more than 500 articles, editorials, and reviews in numerous popular and scholarly journals, he has written many books, including Christ in the Psalms, Christ in His Saints, The Trial of Job: Orthodox Christian Reflections on the Book of Job, Chronicles of History and Worship: Orthodox Christian Reflections on the Books of Chronicles, and Creation and the Patriarchal Histories: Orthodox Reflections on the Book of Genesis.
