== Life ==
The future bishop was born in Germany on [[September 29]], 1955, of the Czech nationality. He completed his schooling in Franfurt-am-Main and then studied at the department of architecture in Darmstadt. In 1979 he entered the brotherhood of St Job of Pochaev in Munchen. He was [[tonsure]]d a monk on [[March 29]], 1983. On [[December 25]], 1983 he was ordained [[hierodeacon]] and on [[April 8]], 1991 hieromonk. In 1995 he was elevated to the rank of [[abbot]].
