These are modes 3 and Grave (ΒαΒαρυς, Plagal of the third, 7). The scale for mode three is the Western major scale with a flat seventh: {|| Nη || || Πα || || Βου || || Γα || || Δι || || Κε || || Ζω || || Nη|-| || 12 || || 12 || || 6 || || 12 || || 12 || || 12 || || 6 |||} The grave mode often uses the same scale as mode 3, but there are several variations proper to the mode.
