Article name

Though the official name of the vicariate includes a slash (/), this article is named with a hyphen (-) due to the technicalities of wiki-naming, i.e., a slash would make the wiki software think that this was a sub-article. Keep this in mind when linking to this article, and please don't rename it to include the slash. Thanks.

The preferred format for linking to this article is: [[Vicariate for Palestinian-Jordanian Communities in the USA|Vicariate for Palestinian/Jordanian Communities in the USA]]

Questions about the accuracy of claims made

I have been told from very reliable sources that there was no agreement to transfer parishes to the GOA, and that only a few parishes have actually transfered into the GOA. Frjohnwhiteford 14:51, August 23, 2008 (UTC)

Are these sources published? They'd need to be, if they're going to be represented here over against the official press release from the GOA. —Fr. Andrew talk contribs (THINK!) 18:30, August 23, 2008 (UTC)

They've been confirmed on OrthodoxNews: —The preceding unsigned comment was added by JosephSuaiden (talkcontribs) 23 October 2008.

This article was a reprint from the weekly publication The National Herald. An op-ed commentary in the same publication challenged the veracity of the article, calling it "tendentious and somewhat sensationalistic." See I would respectfully submit that the original article cannot be considered a reliable source, as the one person interviewed appears to be speaking for himself and not for parishes in the vicarate.
