On October 21, 2014, he was canonically elected Bishop of Santa Rosa, to serve as Auxiliary Bishop to Abp [[Benjamin (Peterson) of San Francisco|Benjamin of San Francisco]] in the [[Diocese of the West (OCA)|Diocese of the West]]. He was [[consecration|consecrated]] Bishop of Santa Rosa on [[January 24]], 2015, at Holy Trinity Cathedral, San Francisco.
