His Grace '''Andrej (Frušić) of Banja Luka''' (Serbian: '''епископ др Андреј Фрушић''') was the Serbian Orthodox [[bishop]] of Banja Luka from 1961 to 1980, and later of Srem from 1980 to 1987.
He was born July 5, 1916, in Divoš in Srem. He was born as Janko (Јанко). He graduated High School in Novi Sad 1935, and Orhodox Theological Faculty in Belgrade 1939. He was tonsuredJuly 11/24, 1940. He is ordained deacon tomorow and priest March 3/16 1941. In 1952, he obtained his doctorate from Tgology Tеology in Belgrade. He was the last theology student to receivc who received his doctorate from Belgrade University before 2004, the Orthodox Theological Faculty having been removed from university from 1952 until its restoration in 2004. He was professor at Orthodox Theological Faculty from 1952 to 1961. He was elected for Vicarius Bishop of Banja Luka Budimlje in 1961 1959 and was consecrated by [[Patriarch]] German and two other bishopsJune 15/28 on St. Vitus Day. He was elected for Bishop of Banja Luka in 1961. He built together with people and priests new Cathedral of Holy Trinity 1972. On his own request he was transferred to the [[Diocese]] of Srem in 1980. He died in Sremska Mitrovica in 1987.
