The Greek Church sees Archbishop as the highest episcopal rank under patriarch. The Russian Church sees Metropolitan as the highest episcopal rank under patriarch. The Patriarchate of Antioch retains good relations with all Orthodox jurisdictions throughout the world without wishing to favour one local custom over another.
