In February 2012, the [[Orthodox Church in America]] announced the transfer of the Protection of the Most Holy Theotokos Monastery, Weaverville, N. C. from the omophorion of Metropolitan Jonah and the Orthodox Church in America to the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, effective [[October 25]], 2011.
