Don't mess with Greeks.
A lawyer and a Greek are sitting next to each other on a long flight.
The lawyer is thinking that Greek s are ==Note==Vasiliki, thank you for your kind note. I tend to be history buff - so dumb that he could I like to look behind the fluff of tradition (small t) get over on them easya picture of what "really" happened.Bill/Basil/Vasily..So the lawyer asks if the Greek would like to play a fun game. Wsk 20:31, January 20, 2009 (UTC)
The Greek is tired and just wants to take a nap, so he politely declines and tries to catch a few winks. == Minor edits ==
The lawyer persistsI've noticed you've recently made a huge number of edits all marked as "minor." Please remember that "minor" edits are things like fixing spelling, and says that the game minor formatting issues, fixing links, etc. Adding content is a lot of funalmost never minor. I ask you a question This may seem pedantic, and if you donbut it't know the answers actually pretty important, you pay me only $5; you ask me one, and if I since many folks filter what they see in edit histories so that they don't know the answer, I will pay you $500, he sayssee minor edits.
This catches the Greek s attention and to keep the lawyer quietFor more info, he agrees to play the gamecheck this out: w:Help:Minor edit. &mdash;[[User:ASDamick|<font size="3.5" color="green" face="Adobe Garamond Pro, Garamond, Georgia, Times New Roman">Fr. The lawyer asks Hi, I kinda thought that but the first question. 'What's fact that I modify every 30 seconds I thought on the distance from The Earth to other hand people would be annoyed with me if the Moon?' The Greek doesn't say same article came up a word, reaches zillion times in his pocket pulls out the Recent Changes list ..its not a fiveproblem ..I can do it the (pedantic) way :-dollar bill) Vasiliki 21:47, and hands it to the lawyer. He sends e::With all respect (and I know you are cheeky enough to get it), when people give up their personal time to contribute and help it would be nice if their was a *tiny* amount of gratitude and courtesy for their assistance rather than this continual "nit-mails to all the smart friends pick" at things that really are not that important! "proof reading" is valid in context of article (agree and I should do it more often! :P) however in context of a "timeline" its too hard ... I am amazed Angellight888 does so well but he knows, all is used to no availthat whole --- pages of text in front of his face and probably can handle it much better than me. After one hour I also have to contend with "timing out" after a certain amount of searching he finally gives uptime ... and losing anything in my edit altogether ... ==Timeline in Britain==Hi again, I replied to your response on my talkpage; I suggest we both use the talkpage for the article itself to make it easier from now on. Cheers, Angellight 888 00:04, May 26, 2009 (UTC):Vassiliki I revised the proposed outline for the eras; please have a look on the discussion page of the article. You were absolutely correct, the titles for the eras should reflect the history of the Church as much as possible. I think I have done this successfully for the eras up to 1485 AD - (have a look). After that time it is difficult to place a name on any period of British history as it relates to the Church, so we will have to go with the secular headings I think. Again, for the 20th century, if you can determine when each of the dioceses for the various Orthodox jurisdictions were established, we could create a sub-category with those dates. I think for now, we are good to go with the suggested outline. :) Angellight 888 03:53, May 26, 2009 (UTC)==About Dates==I'm using the new calendar dates. This is a problem. In the site i gived to you, http://www.holytrinityorthodox.com/calendar/index.php?year=2009&today=8&month=2&trp=0 , ex: Sunday, February 8, 2009 / January 26, 2009 (Church Calendar). January 26, 2009 is the now calendar date. The Greek reaches second date is good. No problem, I'm nervious too, :) Maraamu 12:08, May 28, 2009 (UTC). Same thing with http://www.holytrinityorthodox.com/calendar/index.php?year=2009&today=7&month=1&trp=0 . Wednesday, January 7, 2009 / December 25, 2008 (Church Calendar). Is mention the Nativity feast and the 25 dec is the new date. 7 jan is the old date.:BTW. Take it easy. This lists are not an easy work. There are more then 4000 names (in his pocketall centuries) out there. We should take this step by step and with a lot of calm, hands the lawyer $5 peacefully and goes back to sleeplove for saints.Maraamu

I've noticed you've been adding many texts to OrthodoxSource. This is good.
I'm wondering, though, whether these texts are explicitly in the Public Domain or whether you have been given permission from the copyright holders to reproduce them on the site. Just in a brief examination of some of the texts on the site, I've found several articles which seem to be violations of copyright. (No indication is given that permission was received to use them.)==Welcome back!==OrthodoxSource is hosted in the United States and has to abide by US copyright law. Except in the limited context of Fair useHi Vasiliki, it's illegal good to use material from another source without explicit permission to do so. (Reproducing and republishing whole texts online does not constitute "fair use.") Please make sure that see you are abiding by US copyright law. OrthodoxWiki and OrthodoxSource could get shut down and the people who run them could get in trouble with the authorities.  For more information, see: *OrthodoxWiki:Copyrights.*[[OrthodoxWikihere again!
