After pointing out that ''epiousios'' is a coined word found only in the Gospel and the Lord's Prayer in the ''Didache''), LaVerdiere suggests that it is a "proper adjective for Eucharist." I don't see a mention of "ever-essential" in LaVerdiere, either in what he says about ''episousios'' or Jerome's translation of it as ''supersubstantialis''.
