During the early part of the 2000s, Hmk Joachim, with a group of volunteers, put in four and a half years of work to clear the skete of rubbish and undergrowth, and to make buildings secure, habitable and weatherproof. Another task has been to clear the cave of the former superior, Fr [[Guri (Demidov)]], of the dirt and rubbish accumulated since his departure, and to make it stable. A floor has been laid, the walls strengthened, and [[icon]]s and a vigil lamp have been installed. Sanctified by Fr Guri, the first [[chapel]] of the Skete has become a place of pilgrimage.
To accomplish the task set for Hmk Joachim, the Skete has obtained the blessing of Abbess Evpraxia to use the old monastery Church of All Saints in the neighbouring [[Monastery of Our Lady of Kazan (Kentlyn, New South Wales)|Our Lady of Kazan Monastery]]. A small, multinational [[congregation ]] has been built up, and the Divine Liturgy is served in English on Sundays and major feast days. During the week, the Skete has prayer according to the Hours of the Church.
