I do not disagree with you on the technical because I have not researched it enough ... however, from practical experience (travelling in Greece) I know for a fact that MANY churches and monasteries in Greece fly the yellow flag with the flag of Greece on their churches and the monasteries. ::: I hear you and I know what you mean, the golden flag has mass popular appeal. I'm sure there is no reason why they couldn't fly the Ecumenical flag in Greece, and as you say, they do in many places. However in the interest of clarity, we should point out in the article here that the Church of Greece officially does have a different emblem. You could edit the written section of the article on the Emblem of Constantinople, and say the flag has mass appeal also in Greece and is used there in many places. :):) [[User:Angellight 888|Angellight 888]] 04:14, April 24, 2008 (UTC)
