He is also currently dean of [[St. Tikhon's Orthodox Theological Seminary (South Canaan, Pennsylvania)|St. Tikhon's Orthodox Theological Seminary]] in South Canaan, Pennsylvania, and serves there as Associate Professor of New Testament and Ethics.
Bp. Michael entered the [[clergy]] through the [[American Carpatho-Russian Orthodox Diocese|Carpatho-Russian Diocese]], being [[ordination|ordained]] to the priesthood by Bishop [[John (Martin) of Nyssa|John (Martin)]] in 1973. He served as Vice-[[Chancellor ]] and as secretary to two [[bishop]]s. He also was Director of Religious Education of the Johnstown deanery and taught at the [[Christ the Saviour Seminary (Johnstown, Pennsylvania)|Christ the Saviour Seminary]].
