Talk:St Lawrence Academy

I visited the website to find out more about this and it does not appear to be "Orthodox" information rather it is an advertisement for a High School that has 'some' connection to an Orthodox Church ... do these articles get grounds in Orthodox Wiki? Vasiliki 16:02, February 26, 2008 (PST)

Well, seeing as it is an Orthodox school, and the text gives a somewhat impartial description, I'd be inclined to leave it. Of course, it doesn't really say much right now. Other contributors' thoughts? Gabriela 17:17, February 26, 2008 (PST)
I looked up our List of Orthodox Churches listed in California and could not find St Lawrence ... I was thinking it should be a sub-paragraph under an article of that church? That is my thought bc it does not appear to have potential for further growth. BUT I AM ONLY RELATIVELY NEW SO I COULD BE WRONG - LOL. Vasiliki 17:22, February 26, 2008 (PST)
Evidently the California list does not include churches under the Jerusalem Patriarchate. I am not convinced that each of the Orthodox Schools should get an article, and would be in favor of deleting it. —magda (talk) 08:48, February 27, 2008 (PST)
The main source of notability for this school is in the Ben Lomond Crisis article...and as such, would be covered there. Aside from the total lack of ethnic basis for its establishment, it's just not going to be big enough to justify existence as a separate article. The information on the page could easily be put on the Orthodox Schools article without any problem. That being said, maybe the contributor will come back and enlarge, and we'll see a justification - perhaps give it a few days? — by Pιsτévο talk complaints at 21:01, February 28, 2008 (PST)
