He is an Archeologist by background, having studied the History of Classical Antiquity, Archeology and Byzantine History, writing his dissertation on Byzantine canon law and civil law.
 
 
 
As a young boy, he was part of a parish of [[Russian Orthodox Church - Moscow Patriarchate]] [http://mediolanum.me/1111-2/] directed by Archimandrite Evloghij.
 
He became monk rasoforos in 1984 than [[lector]], [[subdeacon]] - later in 1985 was ordained [[deacon]] and [[priest]] as [[Hieromonk]] (by Bishop Evloghij of Milan), later in 1992 he became [[Hegumen]] and  in 1995 [[Archimandrite]].
 
 
 
He was consecrated [[bishop]] in 6 december o.s./19 december n.s. 1995, Feast of St. Nicholas in the Cathedral of [[Milan]], by Archbishop Evloghij, Archbishop Vigil of Paris and Archbishop Vasily under the [[jurisdiction]] of the [[Autonomous Orthodox Church of Milan, Western Europe and Canada]] - [[Ukrainian Orthodox Church – Kyiv Patriarchate]]. [[Archbishop]] [[Lazar (Puhalo) of Ottawa]], who new him in [[w:Kiev|Kiev]], send as member of the [[Holy Synod]] of [[Autonomous Orthodox Church of Milan, Western Europe and Canada]] ([[Ukrainian Orthodox Church – Kyiv Patriarchate]]) his agreement for the consecration.
 
 
 
In 2004 he left his mother Church and went to another [[jurisdiction]]. After, he has repented he was readmitted to the [[Holy Synod of Milan]] with penance, consisted of a forced retirement. Than he remained until June of 2013 as a [[retired bishop]] by will of the Holy Synod of Milan. After years of retired life and study, the [[Holy Synod of Milan]] reconsidered its position and accepted the request of Vladyka Vladimir to return as a [[bishop]] no longer in forced retirement.
 
Since June, 2013, is part of the [[Holy Synod of Milan]] full-fledged as ''' "[[Bishop]] of the [[w:St. Julius Island|St. Julius Island]]"''' of [[w:Egina|Egina]] ([[w: Julius of Novara|Julius of Novara]] in [[w:Orta San Giulio|Orta San Giulio]]).
