Am I reading what you said right on the Admins page? You want an OSRM (or -- just slightly safer-- a comparative Sarum rite) article? Do you not envision the bloodshed of at least a half-dozen or so booted users that would ensue off such, myself likely unwillingly included? --JosephSuaiden 22:21, February 18, 2009 (UTC)

Req for involvement
Hey, would you mind taking a look at the comments here and getting involved? I reverted for what seemed to me to be obvious reasons (esp. somewhat POV language), but as our Ozzie-in-Chief, I thought perhaps you might be better suited to handle this. Thanks! —[[User:ASDamick|Fr. == Appologies and thanks... ==

Pistevo,

I know my prior post may have appeared hostile and on the front foot. For this I appologise both to yourself and Fr Andrew. I only hope that you both understand that I am a young Orthodox Serb that is constantly choked by iggnorance amongst the powers that be and your involvement (ammendmants) were refreshing to read.

I and many other interested persons appreciate your consideration and ammendments to the page.

Thankyou for the fairness you have displayed.

YoungSerb,

Byzantine chant question
Hi Pistevo, I came across your user page and saw that you can ead Byzantine notation. I am a 14 year old boy teaching myself how to read Byzantine music, but have a question I thought you could answer. I know that the oligon, petasthé, and kentémata are all ascending seconds, but this confuses me: how can there be three symbols for an ascending second? How are each used? Thank you, --Iliada 15:55, June 24, 2009 (UTC)

Psalter quote question
You told me that Fr. Georges Florovsky said the quote about the golden thread and the psalter found here: Psalter. I can't find that anywhere. Can you point me to a reliable source that says that? I find golden thread and the mind of the fathers, φρόνημα τόν Πατέρον (sp?) but nothing about the Psalter. ==Directory entries==
As you probably noticed that during our discussions in 2007 about deleting parish directory pages in the USA that I agreed in their removal, mainly over the issue of maintaining their currency. I still favor their removal for that reason. Also, even the effort of maintaining a simple listing of parishes for the world means thousands of entries, maybe tens of thousands, that should be in some orderly manner but could be difficult given the differences of opinions concerning identity of the ecclesiastical groups. Closing off the the St Petroc Monastery page and converting it to history may be a liitle premature.

“...I have accordingly, held a meeting of the main people of our Hobart mission, where I explained to them what has happened, the vicious politics and the changes in ROCOR. I told them that I could no longer stay in ROCOR. They were already aware of some of my feelings. The Mission will remain intact under Metropolitan Hilarion, with Fr Barry in charge - as has been the practice for some considerable time...”
