Ordination
In the template:spirituality shouldn't Ordination be replaced with Holy Orders?  I was just wondering because just ordination leaves out the monastic vows that are included in Holy Orders and also the minor orders. --Arlie 16:59, 5 Aug 2005 (EDT)

Welcome to OrthodoxWiki!

Hello, MariaCrabtree, and welcome to OrthodoxWiki!

Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Please note that OrthodoxWiki is always in development, so not everything works quite right yet. You can help, though!

OrthodoxWiki is a community-edited encyclopedia of Orthodox Christianity. Articles are created and edited by our members, and so everything that we do here is subject to review and revision. The result is a true consensus product, with every interested editor contributing his own knowledge and writing skills. As such, when you feel that criticism of an article is warranted, we encourage you to join in and fix it! Don't worry about breaking anything or doing something wrong—the other editors here are happy to jump in and help you learn.

Mary of Bethany

Would you mind posting which version of Scripture and what source for the hymns you used to create the Mary of Bethany page? —magda (talk) 11:12, 6 Aug 2005 (EDT)

No problem. Just to let you know it was the scripture is the New King James Version. For the Hymns I got the Kontakion and Apolytikion from goarch.org. The troparia I got from comeandseeicons.com. Where should this information go?--Arlie 13:39, 6 Aug 2005 (EDT)

You might look at the article on Mary Magdalene for an example. Also, if you respond to another user on that user's talk page rather than your own, whenever that user logs in, he can immediately know there are messages. —magda (talk) 14:42, 6 Aug 2005 (EDT)
