Welcome to OrthodoxWiki!
Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Please note that OrthodoxWiki is always in development, so not everything works quite right yet. You can help, though!
OrthodoxWiki is a community-edited encyclopedia of Orthodox Christianity. Articles are created and edited by our members, and so everything that we do here is subject to review and revision. The result is a true consensus product, with every interested editor contributing his own knowledge and writing skills. As such, when you feel that criticism of an article is warranted, we encourage you to join in and fix it! Don't worry about breaking anything or doing something wrong—the other editors here are happy to jump in and help you learn.

I'm finally writing here
Hi. I'm not sure how this works. I just submitted an article, but it needs some help, especially with formatting and such.
- Hi Katja! It looks very good now. I might suggest adding a couple pictures if you have any available. You can upload pictures using the "Upload File" link on the sidebar, and then check the "Editing Tips" on the edit page for examples on how to integrate the image in (or look at other pages). Basically it's like this: image.jpg|thumb|description with double brackets on either side. Hope that helps! - Fr. John
Well, Rdr. Andrew helped. :)
As for photos of Alexander Schmorell, I know that there are a lot online, but I'm not sure about the image copywrite on them. I *believe* that a lot of the photos are actually copywrite of Jürgen (George) Wittenstein. I think that Jenna, who is webmaster of the jlrweb.com site said that she actually has permission from him to post those photos on her site, but I don't know the lowdown on it all.
- I would think that most of the photos had gone into the public domain by now—aren't they at least 50 years old? ——Dcn. Andrew talk random contribs 19:01, 23 Jul 2005 (EDT)
- Maybe a quick email to the appropriate parties would be the way to go? - Fr. John
