Thank you for your contributions and welcome to OrthodoxWiki! Fr. John

Many thanks, Father. I'm glad to be here. I'm a friend of Rdr. Andrew's. --DcnDavid 10:07, 2 Feb 2005 (CST)

Menaion

I think we're working toward a "combined menaion" of sorts. Include as many saints as possible for each day, but note where there are differences, e.g., for February 27, you would list: Raphael of Brooklyn (OCA commemoration). --Rdr. Andrew 10:34, 3 Feb 2005 (CST)

P.S. I'm quite happy to see your appearance here, BTW.  :)

Lenten Triodion

Thank you for your help in rectifying my mistakes. Regarding the fasting page: for the "Fast-free weeks" section, is it still appropriate to call the week following the Sunday of the Publican and Pharisee the first week of the Lenten Triodion since that is the first week of using that book? After some inquiries on campus this evening, I was told that usually Lenten Triodion refers to a) the book by that title, b) the period of time for which the book is used, or c) (in few circumstances) the three weeks before Lent starts for lack of a better name. Is there another name for these three weeks, or is it merely the start of the Lenten Triodion (definition b)? Thank you for your help. --magda 22:18, 22 Feb 2005 (CST)

Triodion supplement

Yeah, we were just talking about the supplemental book in one of our class yesterday (IIRC). I want to get it one of these days. Vital stuff. --Rdr. Andrew 04:57, 23 Feb 2005 (CST)

Chrismation

Deacon David - thanks for the modification/clarification on the Chrismation article. -- Geoff 11:21, 23 Feb 2005

Monastics category

Sure, why not? We may have to go through our list of saints and monasticize 'em, though, which is okay. --Rdr. Andrew 19:19, 26 Feb 2005 (CST)

Sysop

Dear Deacon David, I hope you don't mind but I've bumped you up to sysop status. Thanks for all your work here, Fr. John

Category deletion

Oh, I zapped it already.  :) --Rdr. Andrew 18:37, 1 Mar 2005 (CST)

Redirects

No problem, Deacon! --Rdr. Andrew 15:12, 23 Mar 2005 (CST)

Anastasios

You're hardly the first to put the welcome on the user page. You're the fourth sysop to do so, at least! —magda (talk) 15:28, December 2, 2005 (CST)
