Welcome to OrthodoxWiki!
Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Please note that OrthodoxWiki is always in development, so not everything works quite right yet. You can help, though!
OrthodoxWiki is a community-edited encyclopedia of Orthodox Christianity. Articles are created and edited by our members, and so everything that we do here is subject to review and revision. The result is a true consensus product, with every interested editor contributing his own knowledge and writing skills. As such, when you feel that criticism of an article is warranted, we encourage you to join in and fix it! Don't worry about breaking anything or doing something wrong—the other editors here are happy to jump in and help you learn.

Naming bishop articles
Hello. I noticed you've recently created several articles dedicated to hierarchs. In the future, please try to name them according to the appropriate section of the official Style Manual, which stipulates, among other things, that titles should be left out of the article names for bishops. Thanks! —Dcn. Andrew talk random contribs 18:41, July 14, 2006 (CDT)
Do you have any information on the copyright or source for Image:StVolodymyr.jpg? (I renamed it so that the strange characters in the old filename don't cause any problems later on.) Thanks! — FrJohn (talk)
- I had found the picture on Wikipedia ()...thanks for the name change!--AKCGY 23:14, August 14, 2006 (CDT)

Please do not do such things
However, there is a question, not related only to this page, it should be discussed. I am sure that the monastic names should be translated and secular - transliterated. Since I believe that Basil (Fedak) was a monk, I translated his name. You wrote (in en-wiki): "Metropolitan Wasyly (Fedak) was never known in any capacity under the name "Basil." He was always officially titled "Wasyly" in English.". It is not so. If you search in google information on request "Basil (Fedak)", you will see the opposite. ~ Чръный человек 06:02, February 10, 2013 (HST)
