I grew up in the Evangelical church. In college I became disenfranchised with the movement and sought for a non-denominational form of Protestantism. Through the internet I encountered the Orthodox faith and was received into it on December 13th, 2015. Almost two years later on November 30th, 2017, I was ordained/tonsured a reader by His Eminance Archbishop Michael of New York and New Jersey (OCA).
