A convert to Orthodoxy, '''Katjuscha''' was baptised into the [[Orthodox Church]] in September 2002in Munich, Germany. She A primary interest of hers is the World War II German resistance group "Die Weiße Rose" (The White Rose), where a native group, primarily made up of Chicagouniversity students, decided that they needed to band together against impossible odds to fight the Nazis. This was based, in large part, on their shared Christian faith. None of them were perfect people, but has spent much even in the times of greatest darkness and evil, they felt compelled to follow God and serve the truth. One of founders of this group was the last few years living in Germany[[martyr]] and [[saint]] [[Alexander Schmorell]], to whom Katjuscha has particular devotion.

One of her many esoteric Other interests is in a Nazi resistance group by include, but are not limited to the name of "Die Weiße Rose" following: Orthodox Churches (The White Roseespecially historic and rural Orthodox Churches), one of whose members was Orthodoxy in America, Early Orthodoxy in the [[martyr]] [[Alexander Schmorell]].  She is an internet addictUnited States, though hopefully not all of it is wasted time. She is one of Missionaries to the moderators (along with [[User:Fedya911]]) at the LiveJournal group United States, "Orthodox_singlePrairie Orthodoxy". She also has the annoying habit of using British spellings, except Orthodoxy and Technology, Orthodox Christian Witness in the case of Modern World, and the word "tire" (when used to Orthodox Church in reference to the round things on a vehicle that help it move)Germany.
