His Grace, the Right Reverend Bishop Theodoritos (Polyzogopoulos) of Nazianzos (b. 1948, Athens, Greece) is an auxiliary bishop of the Ecumenical Patriarchate in Great Britain. He holds a B.A. in Theology (1972) and a B.A. in Philosophy (1976) from the University of Athens and a Ph.D. in Philosophy (1979) from the University of Manchester. Was ordained Deacon in Athens on September 9, 1972 and Priest in London on September 17, 1972. In 2000 he was elected as Bishop of Nazianzos. From 1972 until 1979 he served as Priest in charge and Headmaster of the Greek Schools of the Orthodox Communities of Cambridge, Manchester and St Nicholas, London. From the same year until 2000 he served at the Cathedral of St. Paraskevi of the Archdiocese of Athens. He taught for 20 years Ancient Greek Philosophy, Theology and Christian Ethics at the Greek-American College of Athens and History of Philosophy at the Higher Ecclesiastical Academy of Athens (1983-4). Since March 2000 he serves at the Cathedral of the Holy Wisdom (Sta Sophia) in London.
