Greetings from Vasiliki
==How to add Sains to the listTimeline:===== The Repose ===If you wish to add the repose of a saint to this list, some of these rules the following guidelines can help:1) It is preferred that you start with their name then a comma then the way they died and a place (if known) another comma and then the date they are commemorated by the church and a semi-colon eg:
# It is preferred that you start with their name then a comma then the way they died and a place (if known) another comma and then the date they died and are commemorated by the church then a semi-colon eg: *<Year> <[[:Name of Saint, bishop of <place>, <crucifixion>, d. <[[:Date of death, FD: <[[:Date of commemoration;*<Year> <[[:Name of Saint(born-died), bishop of <place>, died by <crucifixion>, <[[:Date of commemoration;*<Year> <[[:Name of Saint (born-died), abbess of <place>, martyred under
, <[[:Date of commemoration;etc.
Some further points:
* Dont be afraid to use the <"ref"> tag to add either:
a) Reference to a CREDIBLE/HISTORICAL Source you have used to take the information; or
b) HIstorical Historical fact connecting them to either a historical personality (such as son of King X) OR father of another saint etc.

Centuries
OMG....The 1st century was the century that lasted from 1 to 100 not from 101 - 200. From 101 to 200 was the Second century.
:The ideea with the table is verry good. The wikipedia article looks greate. Maraamu 09:01, May 28, 2009 (UTC)
::Hi, it IS! It is fantastic, I have added it to the "Further Reading" section. Thanks for helping out with this article ..there is a LOT of work to do before we even begin to think of making it look fancy! I notice your specialty is the Serbian Saints ..did you want to focus on adding them? Vasiliki 09:07, May 28, 2009 (UTC)
:::My specialty are the 20th cenrury saints, not only the serbs. I'm glad to help because i love verry much the saints that are contemporary with us. It is a lot of work on this subject. Maraamu 09:24, May 28, 2009 (UTC) ::::Great! Go for it: :Template:Saints20 ... dont miss any! :) Vasiliki 09:32, May 28, 2009 (UTC) It seems to me that dividing everything up by included templates creates a level of complexity that's not really needed. Just make a single master article and link to separate articles for each century, e.g., Twentieth Century saints, etc. Generally speaking, the point of a template is that it includes data to be included in multiple articles, not as sub-parts to a single article. —[[User:ASDamick|Fr. Please do not think for a minute I have forgotten this task ... I lack a personal computer and am unable to do the edits at night. This situation will change soon and I can spend more time cleaning up and developing this project ... ~~ Vasiliki, 24th March 2012 EST. == NARCISSUS ==* There appears to be two OW articles on a "Narcissus", Apostle Narcissus and Narcissus of Jerusalem ... any ideas? ~ Ixthis888, 11:05AM August 10 2011.:On the face of it, it seems we have two different people about a century apart. Wsk 01:30, August 10, 2011 (UTC) ==Apostle Onesimus==Will require to identify what is the accepted date of his death. At present three separate sources have different dates, 68AD, 90AD and 109AD. ==Wiki Chronological listings==Hey Angellight, thanks :Thanks for the reference to that sourcelink. Its interesting and will come in handy, however, some of the dates The problem I have is that they offer within the first few lines are "this is not really correct"a import from Wikipedia. It shows, Stephen (for example) as 36 when historically, Christ was born around 4-6 BC This article is being prepared through extensive personal research and died around 33-36 making the year of his death around 30adtime ... Stephen martyred almost immediately after Pentecost (right?) making his death the same year as Christ's resurrection? They list it as 3 years after. I am just wondering how we are going would really be a shame if that time and effort is used for others to "Quality Test" profit by printing books that will not support the conflicting range efforts of dates between different sourcesOrthodoxWiki. Never mind though .. it is what it is. ~ Vasiliki 02:39, May 28, 2009 (UTC)
