Move?

this really should be under Protosyncellus, or even Protosynkellos. Protosyngellos is bad English and even worse Greek. StarovierEd 09:32, March 13, 2007 (PDT)

It's most often spelled protosyngellos in English sources, probably because that's roughly how it's pronounced. (That's the spelling used, for instance, in the Antiochian Archdiocese of N.A.) In any event, it's neither English nor Greek, but rather a Latinization of a modern Greek pronunciation of a Byzantine Greek word. —Fr. Andrew talk contribs 10:03, March 13, 2007 (PDT)
