I have a problem with the accuracy of the details in this story versus the synaxarion for the Saint ... does anyone know of how to locate the original source? Most ALL Greek resources tell the story different, such as this one:

Which inaccuracies, in particular, did you have in mind? —Fr. Andrew talk contribs (THINK!) 12:15, April 5, 2009 (UTC)

I don't know how to edit here, but it is possible to change the icon shown for her? There is a fantastic, lovely icon for her by Athanasius Clark that shows only the Saint and not Zosima. I feel that it is more appropriate for the icon shown to be just of her, in this particular case. http://fatherstephen.files.wordpress.com/2007/03/mary_of_egypt.jpg

Depends on the copyright I guess. Why does Zossia bother you? — FrJohn (talk)
