I would like to suggest that the name of this article be changed to "Liturgical Books, Byzantine." It's clear that the author of the article was referring to the Byzantine tradition (represented by both Greek and Slavic Orthodoxy). There are a number of other Orthodox traditions, however, each with its own liturgical books. I am thinking here of the Coptic, Armenian, Ethiopian, etc. -- Fr Lev
:I admit a large amount of ignorance in this area and honestly created the article so I could learn more from everyone else. I am very open to the name of this article changing. What does everyone else think? Oh, I was thinking of making a template to basically point any new persons looking into liturgics in the right places. What do y'all think? Many of the books described in this article already have articles in their own right, some more extensive than others (e.g., Apostolos, Menaion, Octoechos, Pentecostarion, Lenten Triodion, Psalter, Typikon, although this final one has no content). 15:38, January 10, 2006 (CST)

:That's a good point. Maybe this page can be a kind of disambiguation or summary page, linking to the others and providing a general overview. Fr. John

::I don't know if this was conveyed, but I envisioned this turning into a template eventually, I just wanted to get the ball rolling. Joe 20060110
