St. John's death was on 2 july on the gregorian caledar          [[User:Arthasfleo|Arthasfleo]] 10:47, January 10, 2007 (PST)

Revision as of 18:47, January 10, 2007

Should "N.S" link to a particular calendar? If so, which one? Leaving the abbreviation is somewhat confusing, and "New Style" doesn't explain much to those of us (ahem) who don't know too much. —magda 17:39, 2 Jul 2005 (EDT)

I added links. "O.S." and "N.S." used to be much more frequently seen abbreviations in English literature, but of course as English speakers have forgotten that they were ever on another calendar and stopped talking about things older than last week, one doesn't see them much any more. —Dcn.
