Orthodox Christians should beware of accepting at face value scare stories about Halloween being "Celtic", "occult", "demonic", "druidic" and the like. These stories were made up by iconoclastic Puritans/Protestants to discourage the veneration of saints, and are continued and embellished by their Evangelical successors to this day.
