Fr Georges was a priest of the Patriarchate of Constantinople. Protopresbyter is the highest rank among the Greeks and the Russians. Archbishop Chrysostomos of Etna, who studied under Fr Georges, wrote an article entitled "Protopresbyter Georges Florovsky" (http://www.orthodoxinfo.com/ecumenism/florovsky.aspx). The article claims he was active in the Ecumenist movement. I would like to know if he died with the same point of view since I hear that towards the end of his life ... he completely changed his thinking and I would think that it is important to reflect that in the article.
