(Odd title?)

The title of this article sounds a little odd to me. At first I worried if it was a new heretical sect I hadn't heard of! The content would naturally come under the [[Ecumenical Patriarchate]] article, though perhaps there is enough content to warrent a separate page. Does anyone have further suggestions on how this could be rephrased? {{User:FrJohn/sig}}

: I'm not really sure how else to title it.  I based the title roughly on the names of the jurisdictions of Moscow and Jerusalem in the US.  Anyway, the article makes it pretty clear what it's talking about.

The title of this article sounds a little odd to me. At first I worried if it was a new heretical sect I hadn't heard of! The content would naturally come under the Ecumenical Patriarchate article, though perhaps there is enough content to warrent a separate page. Does anyone have further suggestions on how this could be rephrased? — FrJohn (talk)

I'm not really sure how else to title it. I based the title roughly on the names of the jurisdictions of Moscow and Jerusalem in the US. Anyway, the article makes it pretty clear what it's talking about.
I do think it's worth having a separate article on this subject, though, mainly because I think it helps give a sense of perspective on the makeup of American Orthodoxy. Additionally, although there's little administrative connection between the various groups under the EP in the US, there can be a synod of all the relevant bishops.
The article on the EP needs to be expanded significantly, of course (I've recently significantly reworked the Wikipedia version and may bring those changes over here), but I think putting this article's contents into that one would imbalance it. —Dcn.
