Concerning the Metropolitan election at the 13th All-American Council, the article said that "Bp. Seraphim of Ottawa and Canada received the greatest number of votes on the first ballot". I've changed "the majority" to "the greatest number", since his 267 votes were less than the combined votes of the other significant contenders: Abp. Herman, Bp. Job, Abp. Nathaniel, Bp. Nikolai, and Abp. Dmitri had respectively 141+52+47+47+45 votes, which comes out to 332 - more than Bp. Seraphim. [[User:Steorra|Steorra]] 02:41, November 18, 2008 (UTC)

Seraphim. Steorra 02:41, November 18, 2008 (UTC)

Thanks for fixing this. The technical term for this is plurality (i.e., the most votes), while a majority is more than 50%. —Fr. Andrew talk contribs (THINK!) 02:44, November 18, 2008 (UTC)
