Uniates
What is the OW position on how to represent Uniate saints? For some reason a canonical church (OCA) canonised him as a saint but I am aware that "Uniates" are not considered canonical (and as an example they killed Saint Maksym (in Poland) who is now an Eastern Orthodox saint , for this very reason .He spent his life vocalising this as a heresy and that is why they killed him.. soSo, this conflict perhaps confuses me on how to represent this man on my Timeline of Saints article ... any A canonical church canonises a non-canonical man?? Any clarifications/thoughts would be greatly appreciated. ~~Ixthis888, 24 March 2012. :Well, when they convert to Orthodoxy - and lead ~20000 Orthodoxy as well - it's a lot easier :) - — by Pιsτévο talk complaints at 21:53, March 23, 2012 (HST) ::So, he renounced Uniate? Sorry, I have not read his life and asking for quick references here ... thanks heaps Pistevo. ~~ Vasiliki, 24/3/2012 7pm.
