St. Nektarios Monastery was founded in late 1998 by Archimandrite Ephrem of Philotheou Monastery on Mt. Athos, following the pattern established for Saint Anthony Monastery in Florence, Arizona. Currently, there is a guest house, refectory, chapel, and monastic cells. The monks follow the Athonite Typicon. The Abbott, Fr. Joseph is an Athonite hieromonk.
