Spiritual Knowledge γνώσις is the knowledge of the [[nous]] or intellect which as knowledge of the divine as distinct from the knowledge of reason (dianoia). Gnosis is as such knowledge is inspired by or given by God and is thus linked to contemplation or [[theoria]] and immediate spiritual perception.
