The Serbian Orthodox Church in Australia and New Zealand, headquartered in Canberra, ACT, and Elaine, VIC, is the descriptive term of two parallel dioceses in Australia and New Zealand: the Patriarchal Serbian Orthodox Diocese of Australia and New Zealand; and the Serbian Orthodox Diocese of Australia and New Zealand, New Gracanica Metropolitanate. Currently it is headed by Milutin (Knežević).
At the May 2006 Holy Synod, Hieromonk Irinej (Dobrijević) was appointed to head the Patriarchal diocese, and administer the New Gracanica diocese. Until his October 2006 enthronement, however, Bishop Milutin will remain head of the dioceses.
