The '''Skete of St. Panteleimon''', a dependency of the [[Koutloumousiou Monastery (Athos)|Monastery of Koutloumousiou]], is located near [[Karyes (Athos)|Karyes]] on [[Mount Athos]]. It was founded in 1785 by the [[monk]] Charalampos. The skete consists of nineteen cells with twenty monks. Its library contains forty manuscripts and more than 500 books. The main temple of the skete contains 200 [[icon]]s and [[relics]] of many [[saint]]s.
