His Holiness, Serguis I (Stragorodsky) of Moscow (1861-1944) was the Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia (September 9, 1943 - May 1944). He previously served as patriarchal locum tenens from 1927 to 1943. He was particularly known and criticized for his allegedly willing submission to the Soviet government in Russia, referred to as Sergianism.
