Protection of the Theotokos Monastery is a monastic community for men under the direct jurisdiction of the Primate of the OCA, presently Metropolitan Herman of Washington and New York. It is located in the rural mountains of Weaverville in western North Carolina.

The community was founded in 1982, and were received into the Orthodox Church in America in October, 2003 under the direct jurisdiction of the primate of the Orthodox Church in America, His Beatitude Herman, Archbishop of Washington and New York, Metropolitan of All America and Canada, and currently has two priestmonks (including the abbot), one deaconmonk and two monks in residence.

The community consists of men living the monastic tradition of a Christ-centered prayer life for the monastic members.
