About the monastery

The monastery of Panaghia Galaktotrofoussa (the Virgin Lactans) is located at the confluence of the Chalikiotikos and Lepenetsiotikos Rivers, tributaries of the Acheloos River , on the road that leads to Kalarites, in Thessalia, Greece.
