'''Our Lady of Kazan Skete''' is a [[monastic]] community for women in the [[Diocese of the West (OCA)|Diocese of the West]] in the [[Orthodox Church in America]]. It is located in Santa Rosa, California. The community was founded in 1983 under the auspices of His Grace Bishop [[Basil (Rodzianko) of San Francisco|Basil]] of San Francisco and the West at St Eugene's Hermitage, and is now under the omophorion of his successor, Bishop [[Tikhon (Fitzgerald) of San Francisco and Los Angeles|Tikhon]], located it's own property in Santa Rosa, California.

==Timeline==
*1980: Work began on new chapel at St Eugene's Hermitage, incorporating cupola from belltower of Holy Trinity Cathedral in San Francisco.
*1983: Mother [[Barbara (Johnson)]], formerly abbess of Holy Assumption Monastery, took up residence at St Eugene's Hermitage. She, along with those with her, were called the Community of the Holy Cross.
*1988: Work on chapel completed, consecrated in memory of St Sergius of Radonezh and in the same year as the Milennium of Russian Orthodoxy.
*1996: After 13 years at St Eugene's Hermitage, the Community of the Holy Cross moved to Santa Rosa, under the patronage of Our Lady of Kazan. The Monastery of St John of Shanghai and San Francisco moved into St Eugene's Hermitage.
*2005: The Skete was visited by Bishop [[Benjamin (Petersen) of Berkeley|Benjamin of Berkeley]]
