*[[Holy Autocephalic Greek Orthodox Metropolis Church of America and Australia & Oceania]]: Originally Community Churches, in disagreement Formed out of a schism with the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of Australia but now ecclesiastically under with the Holy Synod Greek Orthodox Community of Greece South Australia (OCGOCSA) which is a recognised ecclesiastical entity registered and recognised by the Greek Government; this metropolis . This church is not in communion with most any of the mainstream Orthodox Churches. It is headed by Archbishop Serapheim *[[Holy Orthodox Metropolis of Athens- President Australia & Oceania]]: Originally churches who went into schism from the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of The Holy Synod Australia, for a time these parishes were part of the Autocephalic Greek Orthodox Church of Greece America and Australia (OCwhile it was under Archbishop Serafeim of Athens) . The Metropolis currently contains the parishes who did not leave the omophorion of Abp Serafeim, and remains under Abp Serafeim of Athens (represented in Australia assisted by Auxiliary auxiliary Metropolitan Christodoulos of Neon Patron, himself a member and vicar-general Fr [[George Athanasiadis]] - 6 parishes or communities in Australia and 2 in the Democratic Republic of Congo. This group is not in communion with any of the Holy Synod)mainstream Orthodox Churches.*[[Holy Synod in Resistance]] - [[Diocese of Sydney and New South Wales (CyprianCyprianite)|Diocese of Sydney and New South Wales]]: This diocese, under Metropolitan Cyprian of Oropos and Fili, is [[Old Calendarist]], and therefore not in communion with any of the mainstream Orthodox Churches. This diocese was Previously headed by His Eminence [[Chrysostomos (Alemangos) of Sydney|Chrysostomos]], Bishop of Sydney and New South Wales, & Exarch of Australia(then consisting of 2 parishes), the current locum tenens is Bp Ambrose of Methone, and consists of two four parishesand one monastery.
