The '''Orthodox Theological Society in America''' (OTSA), was organized with the backing of the Standing Conference of Canonical Orthodox Bishops in the Americas ([[SCOBA]]) to promote Orthodox theology, fellowship and cooperation among Orthodox Christians. And to coordinate the work of Orthodox [[theologian]]s in the Americas.

The Society continues to be a recognized Orthodox institution by the [[Assembly of Canonical Orthodox Bishops of North and Central America|Assembly of Canonical Orthodox Bishops of North America]], the successor body to SCOBA.
