The translation of the ''Orthodox Study Bible'' (first published in 1993) is the New King James Version, which itself was first fully published in 1982.<sup>(Note 1)</sup>
 
Thomas Nelson Publishers first published the ''Orthodox Study Bible''. It is now being published by Conciliar Press.

The ''Orthodox Study Bible'' was the result of a collaboration between numerous Orthodox scholars, clergy and lay leaders.
