==OrthodoxWiki Projects and Sister Sites==
Right now, OrthodoxWiki is considering possibilities for expansion. The Wikimedia Foundation has found it useful to initiate a [[OrthodoxWiki:Other wikis|number of different projects]]. We think OrthodoxWiki could benefit from some well-thought out diversification.

* Something like Wikinews would better be done as an RSS aggregator. See [[Orthodox news]] for a small sample.
* Wikisource is an interesting proposition. There are probably not enough Orthodox books or original articles that we could get permission for to justify a separate site at this time. They could be included here as part of a separate category.
* Wikibooks, which focusses on the collective creation of textbooks is another interesting idea. Again, probably not necessary as a separate entity for us. It would be nice to encourage some of this down the road though.
* Wikispecies - right!
* Same goes for Wikiquote. It would be great to have collections of famous Orthodox quotes, sayings, aphorisms though. We should figure out how to better encourage this. Probably this could be done with a special category or template, and links to the entry for the author or book, if relevant.
The one I'm most interested now, though, is the Commons. Please see [[OrthodoxWiki:Media]] for more discussion of this. Our focus would be a little different that Wikimedia's, but I think this is a distinct enough project to warrant it's own separate wiki.
