He is the ruling bishop of the Greek Orthodox [[Metropolis of Detroit]] and the ''[[locum tenens]]'' of the [[Metropolis of Pittsburgh]] following the resignation of His Eminence Metr. [[Maximos (Aghiorgoussis) of Pittsburgh|Maximos]] in August 2011.
