'''Convent of St. Silouan''' is a [[monastic]] community for women in Boscobel, Wisconsin , on the same property as [[St. Isaac of Syria Skete (Boscobel, Wisconsin)|St. Isaac of Syria Skete]].
The community was founded in August 1991, under the auspices of the [[Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia ]] (ROCOR), and became a sister [[monastery]] to the St. Isaac of Syria Skete. Presently the sisterhood is located at the St. Nicholas Orthodox MissionChurch, but are looking to obtain their own property.
In 1999 St. Isaac of Syria Skete returned their [[antimens ]] to ROCOR. A short while later the skete, including St. Silouan, joined the [[Bulgarian Eastern Orthodox Diocese of the USA, Canada and Australia]].
In 2009 the [[abbot ]] of the skete, Simeon Gitlis, was deposed by the Bulgarians, and they also withdrew their antimens. The community of St. Silouan is currently without a bishop.
